Clio: Practice Management Satisfied

Clio Announces Google Apps Integration, Joins Google Apps Marketplace

As a Clio Certified Consultant we were very pleased to hear the announcement from Themis Solutions, the developer of Clio, about the integration between Clio and Google Apps. Clio is a web-based practice management solution for law firms and it helps your firm stay organized and bill more. And best of all it’s web-based so there’s nothing to install and you can take your practice wherever you are!

Now that Clio officially integrates with Google Apps the users will be able to enable a bidirectional sync for both contacts and calendars with Google Apps. This means that changes or updates you make to your contacts or calendars in Clio will automatically be synced to Google and vice-versa.

Also Clio is the first legal application to join the Google Apps Marketplace which makes it easier for administrators to install new applications into their domains. Take a more in depth look into all the components of the integration on Clio’s website.

Employees Wasting Time Online?

Stasmayer Inc. is proud to be a member of Lowcountry Local First (LLF). LLF is an alliance that educates the public on the importance of supporting the local economy, and encourages businesses and consumers to be environmentally sustainable and socially responsible. We are one of over 60 chapters of the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE). The mission of LLF and its local business members is to promote and preserve our local economy through the promotion of our goods and services.

Stasmayer strongly believes in doing business locally to help protect the local economy and to continue to see it thrive. On a daily basis we consult the LLF directory to find a member’s service; with over 400 members there are an abundance of local business to choose from. “It’s so exciting to be a part of something that is making a difference. Also it’s great talking with other members about their ideas and then putting them into action. The energy and passion just oozes from this organization and it’s infectious,” Harriett Lee exclaims (Stasmayer employee & LLF membership committee). Stasmayer has been able to help some of the LLF members out with their IT needs which resulted in them saving time and money.

Good question…one I asked when I first heard about this awesome event from Christina Lor with ErgonomixPR. I’m glad I asked about it and didn’t pass it over thinking it was just another Twitter thing. Boy was I wrong…Twestival is a whole different animal.

Twestival is a global giving event and this year Charleston is excited to get down ad twesty and host its very own. Simple explanation: social media for social good. So join the world and Charleston on March 25th to take part in giving and creating awareness for Concern Worldwide. I think Christina said it best, “No, we don’t spend the time tweeting when we’re in-person. Twitter is an introduction and a handshake into conversation that can flow from an online space to an offline environment. Twestival is the comforting hug for children around the world in the poorest nations.”
